I’ve been waiting quite some time to share our big news, and today is finally the day…We’re having a baby! Bryan and I couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter of our lives. As you may have seen on my social channels...I took a "blog-vacation" for about a month to prep for our move to our first home. What I couldn't tell you, is that I was also suffering from severe morning sickness!!

Perfect Planning (TMI)
Bryan and I have always wanted to plan our pregnancy. We had a general agreement that we wanted a couple years to ourselves and our fur-babies. This year, as our house was being built, we knew we wanted to make sure that I would end up having the baby in our new home. My doctor told us that it would be difficult for us to conceive due to my odd shaped uterus. Fun Info...I know! So we figured if we got started a little early we'd end up having a few months to try and hope for a late Spring baby. To our surprise, we got pregnant on our very first try!!!! It was amazing. We feel truly blessed.
Pregnancy Tests (More TMI...)
I KNEW I was pregnant but the results kept showing negative. After about 3 tests, I realized I needed to be a bit more patient and wait a little longer. I was almost a week past my missed period and decided to take another test ($$$). Bryan and I had a running joke that I was security addicted to pregnancy tests. LOL. We waited the dreaded 3 minutes and the results were negative. We went on with our morning and while I was in middle of cleaning the house, I decided to take another peek at the earlier pregnancy test. What I claimed to see was a VERY faint line. I did a ton of research on this and there were positive and negative outcomes for people who've had a similar experience. The next morning, I told Bryan I felt like I knew I was absolutely certain that I was pregnant. So he went out and got a Clear Blue test. Which, if you're familiar with this test, it directly tells you "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant". We decided to wait until the next morning to take it since it recommends taking it in the morning when you're more dehydrated. Of course...you know the rest...It was positive!
Over the last few weeks, my body has begun to change in small ways. I haven't really gained any weight (1.5 lbs) and my measurements are the same. However, I'm happy to say that my boobs have gone up a cup size (Bryan likes this! LOL) and I now have a very very faint line down my entire belly. I'm also glad to no longer be suffering from my morning sickness.
How Far Along Am I?
I’m now about 14 weeks along, and can’t believe I was able to go this long without telling everyone in my life. My grandma just got into town a couple of days ago and we surprised her with a picture frame and ultra sound image. You have no idea how many times I wanted to share this with you guys! But just to make sure, we agreed to keep it a secret until the second trimester when my grandma came to visit for my brother's 30th birthday.
How will this change your blog?
I will be adding a “motherhood” section to my blog and will start posting weekly about pregnancy and baby related topics. That being said, I’m not going to be a full-fledged mommy blogger. I’m going to continue posting seasonal phone wallpapers, outfit inspos, decor, lifestyle advice, and tasty recipes. But at the end of the day, this blog is about my life and sharing it with you entirely...baby included!
We actually took these photos with out tripod and they came out amazing!! My top is from TJMAXX and my pants are from Target's maternity line (they're a bit too big now but I'm sure to grow into them).
