EASY DIY - Fall Haircare
No one wants to spend hours on her hair each morning, especially during fall or winter when a single step outside can instantly undermine all of your hard work. So, what's the key to effortless styling? Although products and tools help, the correct answer is: the right haircut. Your haircut cut will not only save you time, but will hold up in even the most humid, rainy, snowy or windy weather.
If you're still unsure about trimming your beautiful locks, I created a post with 2016 Bob & Lob Fall Hairstyles That Will Make You Want Short Hair!
Step 1: Comb and brush out your hair to get out any tangles and knots. Secure your ponytail tightly with an elastic band. Put this first band close to your scalp so that your hair cannot slip out of it.
Step 2: Secure your ponytail tightly with an elastic band. Put this first band close to your scalp so that your hair cannot slip out of it.
Lob VS Bob:
Regular Bob: Place your ponytail lower on the back of the head near your spine or ear, this will create a cute short bob.
Long Bob: Place your ponytail higher on your head (top of head) near the crown. This will give you a longer bob or lob.
Step 3: Place another elastic band further down the ponytail. This second elastic band will sit just below where you want to make the cut. Cut your hair just above the second elastic band. Holding the bottom of your hair firmly in one hand, hold scissors in the other hand and use them to cut through your hair.
Step 4: Make some finishing touches. Snip into the blunt end of the ponytail. Change your grip on the scissors now and, pointing them directly into the hair, snip into the blunt end of the ponytail until it looks like a shaving brush: all graduated and fluffy, with no hard lines.
